Detroit: Become Human is a AAA choice-heavy narrative game developed by Quantic Dream using proprietary technologies, released in 2018.
As a Game Designer during the final few months of the game’s production, I:
Drove the game script implementation in multiple chapters, most notably Stratford Tower, Zlatko and the Android camp section of the finale
Coordinated the efforts of level builders, animators and camera designers to ensure the most impactful player experience
Ensured consistency within and across scenes of common player interactions in terms of presentation, required input and feedback
Mapped the choice trees of my chapters, making sure that they both reflected previous player choices and would properly impact future scenes
Designed, implemented and refined the queue system necessary for the Android camp scene with our gameplay programmers
Placed dialogue and interaction prompts within navigation areas and finalized camera shots
Implemented advanced rumble effects through the first half of the game
